Our primary goal at Paintball.co.uk is to provide all of our valued customers with the most complete paintballing experience - that is why we operate only with the UK’s premier paintball providers. To add even more convenience and value to your paintball experience, we continually look to increase our network of premium paintball centres so that you can play paintball exactly where and when you want to. Now in an effort to make your day of paintballing even more comfortable, Paintball.co.uk provider Delta Force has opened their 23rd National Paintball Centre in the UK. Quarrywood, located in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, is just 5 miles from their Oakwood centre in Bourne End and is designed to meet the increased demand for paintball games in the Hertfordshire area. Each weekend the Bourne End centre plays host to well over 500 paintball enthusiasts, and now due to an ongoing demand in and around the Hemel Hempstead region, Delta Force has opened the neighbouring Quarrywood centre. The Kings Langley centre has six exciting new game scenarios and operates only with brand new, top of the range paintball equipment. Quarrywood is one of several new paintball centres opening in 2008 – watch this space for upcoming details about the next new and exciting paintball centre to be added to the Paintball.co.uk network.

Obama plays paintball

President Elect Barack Obama will not only be the first black president of the United States he will also be the first President known to be a paintball enthusiast.  Mr Obama was a regular player in younger days – it is hoped that the sport will benefit from this increased awareness in high office, and perhaps help take it one step closer to being included as a competition sport in future Olympic Games.  Fingers crossed, and hey, congratulations on your win Barack! Gordon Brown is not known to have played paintball yet, but other leading politicians certainly have, including London Mayor Boris Johnson, pictured below playing recently at Delta Force Paintball in Upminster, Essex.

Ministry of Paintball have gone out of business.

Paintball ticket selling organisation Ministry of Paintball has ceased operations and have gone out of business. The Ministry of Paintball office in Birmingham, West Midlands has closed down and now lies abandoned. Confirmation of the closure was confirmed when members of the paintball.co.uk network visited the office, only to be alerted by neighbouring stores that the office was closed down and emptied overnight. Attempts to contact the managing director or sellers of Ministry of Paintball have failed. If anyone in the paintballing community has information as to the whereabouts of Ministry of Paintball then please contact Justin@paintball.co.uk. For all of those who have purchased paintball tickets from Ministry of Paintball, please call 0800 849 4911 or email info@paintball.co.uk and we will strive to provide you with some information and organise a paintballing event for you at any of the premium paintball venues on the paintball.co.uk network.

Delta Force Bourne End hosts Trash the Dress photo shoot.

Award winning photographer Simon Burt was on location at the Delta Force paintball centre in Bourne End, Hertfordshire for his latest Trash the Dress photo shoot. Sporting an Ian Stuart wedding gown (this might mean more to the female paintball players out there), the brave bride posed for a series of still and action photos to add to Simon’s already impressive portfolio.   Delta Force host a number of Stag and Hen parties each week at their 22 National Paintball Centres throughout the UK.
